Perfect wedding skin

Planning a wedding for 2014.If you want perfect skin on your wedding day you’ll have to start with a skincare routine that works for you. When you apply makeup to a complexion that has had a constant effective beauty routine you’ll see that it accents beauty, with no necessity to cover up flaws. Ultimately, you are the only one that can decide how you will look on your special day but I recommend you start monthly facials, along with a daily skincare routine, at least 6 months before your big day. This is bound to give you perfect skin! The article below will give you a guide of things you need to know and do before your big day. This hopefully will lessen the learning curve and alleviate some of the stress that comes prior to getting married. Know your skin. I really can’t stress this enough—in order to look your best on your big day, you have to know what works and doesn’t work for you so you don’t accidentally use a product that causes you to break out or have other adverse reactions. If you know a particular brand, or ingredient, or texture doesn’t agree with your skin, do not be swayed into trying it before your wedding—it will still not work and it will give you extra hassles to worry about. My advice is to find out as early on as possible what works for your skin and stick to it. If you have sensitive skin, steer clear of anything with fragrances or harsh ingredients—For oilier or combination skin ,stick to a lighter product and don’t be afraid to use two different products—one for oilier parts and one for dryer parts. If you have more delicate or mature skin, go for a really high tech product, such ones from Skinceuticals, which have potent anti-ageing ingredients. And if you prefer green or natural products, check out the products from Eminence —they are some of the best that I’ve ever tried.

Use Sunscreen all day, every day plus Antioxidants. The number one piece of advice is that applying sunscreen that protects both against UVA and UVB rays daily is the best thing you can do for your skin. You probably already know that…but if you really want to get serious about your skincare for the ultimate glowing complexion, also add an antioxidant serum into your regime. Not only will antioxidants boost the effectiveness of your sunscreen, it protects skin in other ways and helps to reverse damage that has already been done. Two common forms of antioxidants are Vitamin C and Vitamin E and as it turns out, they’re even more effective when used together. My favourite antioxidant products are Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. Exfoliate, but not too much. Exfoliating is the key to brighter fresher looking skin. Leading up to your wedding however, proper exfoliation is key to keeping skin looking youthful and radiant. Don’t overdo it by going for a harsh scrub—keep it to something gentle such as Skinceutical retexturising serum. Results from using an exfoliate regularly is cumulative and you’ll see the pay off in the long run. When it comes to body exfoliation (backless wedding dresses makes it a necessity) — This beauty treatment is best left to the pros as it is difficult to properly exfoliate your back. Time your treatments so you can enjoy the results. Most brides will want to invest in some professional treatments right before their wedding whether it’s brow shaping, waxing, facial etc. Plan your appointments well in advance to ensure you get the desired results.
